Children's Services
The library's Children's Department offers many helpful services to the children of our community. Located on the second floor of the library, the children's department provides a fun toy area with games, toys and puzzles. Four computers with a variety of games are available for children's use. Children may select picture books, fiction and non-fiction books, books on cassette tape and CD along with a wide range of reference books to help with school projects.


Pre-school Story Time

Pre-school story times are held each Thursday at 11:15 a.m.  Story times inclue stories, music and crafts.  The fourth Thursday of each month there is a puppet show at story time. 
Craft Programs
Throughout the year, free craft workshops are held in the Children's Department, often during school vacations.  Check the calendar of events for the next program.
Summer Reading Program
Plan ahead for the Summer Reading Program! The library holds a Summer Reading Program each year for children ages kindergarten through fifth grade.  
Getting a Library Card
Children who live in Ward or White River townships can get a library card when accompanied by a parent with proof of address. Students who are enrolled in the Randolph Central School Corporation but reside in Franklin Township may get a library card at no charge. They must show proof of enrollment in one of the schools in the Randolph Central School Corporation. Proof of enrollment may include report cards, book rental receipts, or IDs. These student cards will expire after twelve months, but may be renewed with a new proof of enrollment.
